About

The Real Men Discipleship Conference was born out of a deep desire to equip men to be godly, courageous leaders in their homes, churches, and communities. Founded by Anthony Curnutt, a man with a passion for men’s ministry and a compelling personal testimony, the conference seeks to address the challenges that men face today by providing them with the resources, support, and guidance they need to thrive.

Anthony’s journey started with a simple yet profound mission: to equip men to live lives of integrity, strength, and purpose, firmly rooted in their identity in Christ. Recognizing that many men lack the tools and community to navigate their spiritual and personal journeys effectively, Anthony envisioned a conference that would do more than just inspire—it would equip men with practical strategies and a network of support that they can carry with them long after the event ends.

At the heart of the Real Men Discipleship Conference is the belief that men need other godly men in their lives. This conference is not just about attending sessions; it’s about building relationships, fostering brotherhood, and creating a lasting impact. Men will leave the conference not only encouraged but equipped with actionable resources to implement in their daily lives and to share within their homes, churches, and communities.

Men. Need. Men.

In Mark 14:32-42, we see a powerful example of why men need other men in their lives, even Jesus sought the company of His closest disciples during His most challenging moments. Before He was crucified, Jesus went to the garden of Gethsemane, taking Peter, James, and John with Him. He asked them to remain there and watch, not just physically, but spiritually, to stay awake and pray.

This passage highlights Jesus' desire for close friends to intercede for Him and keep watch, even though He knew the path He was destined to take. Their presence was not about adding something to Jesus, but it reflected His deep desire for fellowship, for others to stand by Him, even in His divine mission. However, the disciples, despite their good intentions, failed to stay awake and support Jesus in His hour of need, showing the human frailty that Jesus came to redeem.

This moment underscores the importance of having other godly men in our lives. Just as Jesus sought the support of His disciples, men today need the presence, encouragement, and accountability of other men who share their faith and commitment to God's calling. The Real Men Discipleship Conference provides a space for men to build these essential relationships, helping each other stay spiritually alert and strong in their faith, just as Jesus called His disciples to do.
